Refund policy

At RetroCity we want you to be happy with your Retro Kid™. If anything is wrong, email [email protected] and we will sort it out — a real person replies within 24 hours.

Changed your mind? 15-day Returns

You have 15 days from the day your order is delivered to return it for a full refund of the product price.

• The console must be unused and in its original packaging.
  
• Return postage is paid by you — unless the item is faulty, damaged in transit, or we sent the wrong thing, in which case we cover everything.
• Email [email protected] with your order number and we'll send you the return address.

Faulty, damaged or wrong item — free replacement

If your console arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or isn't what you ordered, we replace it free of charge. Email us with your order number and a photo or short video of the problem. In most cases you don't need to send anything back.

After the 15-day return window, manufacturing faults are handled under our 1-Year Warranty — free repair or replacement, at no cost to you.

When your refund arrives

Cancellations are refunded as soon as we process them. Returns are refunded within 48 hours of the parcel arriving back with us and passing inspection. PayPal refunds appear immediately; card refunds usually take a few working days depending on your bank. You'll get a confirmation email either way.

What isn't covered

• Consoles that have been used, modified, or damaged through misuse, accident or liquid.
• Shipping delays caused by customs inspections, public holidays, extreme weather or seasonal backlogs. These are outside our control, though we will always help you track the parcel.
• Parcels the carrier has confirmed as delivered to your address.

Customers in the European Union

If you are shopping from the EU you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of delivery, for any reason. Our 15-day return policy meets and exceeds that right. Shipping to you is free, so there is no outbound delivery charge to refund; return postage is your responsibility unless the item is faulty.
